Robert Thomas has tried his hand at various jobs and businesses in his 45 years of life.

After working in customer service for years, he stepped into entrepreneurship in 2012 and owned a Cajun restaurant for roughly five years, but closed it after his lead cook aged and could no longer handle the demand. Then he explored nightlife with a club called District 1960 on the northside of Houston that prospered until COVID forced its doors to close in 2020, like many restaurants and bars.
